A/T™ or A.T.L.A.S. is a technology developed to manage weight distribution, reduce strain, and fatigue in the feet when carrying heavy loads. It consists of the following elements:

1. A.T.L.A.S. 2.0 - insole and internal insert for better cushioning and stability
2. 5.11 Tactical® midsole with polyurethane foam:

• Force Foam™ - located in the heel area and absorbs shocks during movement
• Echo Foam™ - located in the forefoot and responsible for cushioning

Construction Features and Materials

 

The outer part of the sneaker is made of a combination of genuine leather, mesh and 3D TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane). Leather is not only a durable material, but also has good vapor permeability and moisture protection properties. The mesh has a high abrasion resistance, provides ventilation and reduces the weight of the shoe. Also, the outside of the boots is treated with a special DWR (Durable Water Repellent) impregnation, which makes the fabric resistant to precipitation. The 3D TPU overlays protect the foot and increase the service life of the shoe.

To protect against precipitation and support breathability, there is a Gore-Tex® membrane inside. The main difference of the proprietary Gore-Tex® membrane from its counterparts is the control of production at every stage by Gore-Tex® representatives. This ensures the highest quality of the products.

All-day comfort is provided by the A.T.L.A.S. 2.0 technology, which consists of an insole, internal supportive insert, and dual-density midsole. The outsole is created in collaboration with 5.11 Tactical® x Vibram® and, thanks to the aggressive tread pattern, provides good traction on various surfaces. It is ASTM certified and resistant to fuel/oil materials, as well as slip-resistant on slippery surfaces.
