The Maddox GTX® LO TF is a dynamic low-cut shoe that is optimally designed for fast-paced missions. Thanks to its practical speed-lace tech­nology, the sports shoe can be indi­vidually adjusted quickly and easily to meet the wearers’ needs, whilst the Gore-Tex® Professional membrane keeps feet dry at all times. It features a highly innovative midsole made from LOWA® DynaPU® which ensures effective, largely fatigue-free cush­ioning.

Technologies

 

LOWA® Enduro EVO
The self-cleaning rubber sole has been optimized for multi­func­tional uses and comes with a striking, sharp-edged profile design. This feature makes it perfect for a broad range of uses – during the daily routine, leisure time or easy hikes.

Rubber Outsole
The Maddox GTX® LO TF is equipped with a LOWA® Rubber Outsole. Conceived by LOWA® to meet the chal­lenges of real-world use, the profile design is made from an optimized rubber compound. The result is a rubber outsole with good traction in the back­country and off trail.

Gore-Tex® Professional
Guar­anteed weather protection even during warm temper­atures: The Maddox GTX® LO TF is equipped with a Gore-Tex® extended comfort footwear membrane. The innovative tech­nology delivers optimal waterproof protection and breath­ability.

LOWA® DynaPU®
The midsole is the leading contributor to the foot­wear’s rolling prop­erties and cush­ioning. In the Maddox GTX® LO TF, this midsole is made of a specially developed plastic: LOWA® DynaPU®. The special feature: It retains its restoring force even when it’s pressed together thousands of times. As a result, the finished boots will maintain their excep­tional cush­ioning prop­erties even after you have walked many kilo­metres in them.

Double Injection
To provide effective cush­ioning and improved comfort, the sole of the Maddox GTX® LO TF is bonded to the upper in a tech­nically demanding injection process. The upper boot is placed into a specially designed mould. Various layers of PU foam padding are then poured into it. In the process, the sole and upper are bonded together.

Support Frame
With the LOWA® Monowrap® frame, the midsole of the Maddox GTX® LO TF provides the very best comfort. This three-dimen­sional midsole design was developed by LOWA® in 1995. The frame comfortably cradles the foot and supports it when the shoe wearer ventures across uneven surfaces. The sole design is slightly raised for shoes with a Support Frame.
